In 1213, after the Norman Conquest, the wooded land we now know as Minchinhampton Common was confiscated and given to l`Abbaye aux Dames in Caen. Some 800 years later Christophe and his business partner Nick continue to add to this fascinating Anglo/French story. The Old Lodge itself dates back some 400 years and is reportedly a former hunting lodge to Henry VIII. The most recent project and the boys only hotel to date.
